Fothergills on Mimha B&B & Garden

Come and enjoy this slice of heaven with the winners of AA`s Spirit of Hospitality award, 2010, and frequent finalists. Hosts, Hilton & Bev Fothergill have lived here for 48 years. The lovely self contained B&B suite is separated from the house by a covered way where you can park your car, providing privacy, seclusion, peace and quiet.  Its location upstairs provides for great views over the garden and down to the coast. The downstairs bathroom boasts a great temperature controlled shower and plenty of big and fluffy towels. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed, the other twin king singles, very comfortable with woolrest underlays and electric blankets. Duvets are cotton in summer, wool in winter. Both rooms have TV and DVD. Wireless broadband access is free. A heater is provided and flyscreens keep out unwanted nightlife. Join us in the house for a delicious home-made breakfast featuring garden-fresh, seasonal fruits, our own avocados and our delightfully different preserves. You`ll find fresh fruit, home-made biscuits and a variety of teas and coffee in your rooms.  Other meals can be provided, but must be pre-arranged. You can use the washing machine, barbecue and all the garden and outdoor areas. Sit on the deck and take in the views flowing out to the garden and farmland. Listen to tuis, bellbirds and other varied birdlife. 10% discount for 3rd+ nights. Take time to enjoy the benefits of the beautiful countryside. Enjoy a relaxing walk over farmland, up the no-exit road, or through the beautiful and productive garden. At Fothergills, home-grown and home-made foods are a specialty with most being sourced from the vast vegetable garden and orchard. In recognition of our responsibility to the environment and to further enhance the pleasure of your stay, we use only eco-friendly products in our cleaning. At the end of the day, sink into our luxurious spa pool (under the stars if you like). This is rural accommodation with style - and a smile!
