Your stunning hideaway is privately positioned in a tree lined valley, overlooking a waterfall on our 45 acre (almost self-sufficient) farm stay. Self catering- Waterfall lodge offers our farmstay guests the opportunity to experience rural New Zealand with great kiwi hospitality, on a working farm while retaining independent living. You may wish to become involved in some of the farm activities or simply enjoy the countryside from the comforts of your country retreat.
Simple but beautifully decorated, this is the ideal place to escape or as a base to explore the diverse area as we are half way between the two coasts.
Enjoy the ambiance of the country - smell the fresh air, meet the many animals-alpacas, self-shearing sheep & lambs, the free-flying, house dwelling, lorikete.
Alfesco cook and dine with the wood burning outdoor fire and pizza oven with views to the waterfall. Try toasting the mashmellows or cook that steak on the fire or barbeque. Time to relax berfore bedtime in the outdoor claw foot bath with a glass of wine and the stars above.
Purpose built and designed, ideal for couples, with your convenience, comfort and fun in mind, the cottage is well equipped with many basic cooking condiments, ironed cotton sheets, white fluffy robes and veges from the garden. Set up for last minute getaways just swing by the supermarket, select your favorite easy cook delights and settle in and enjoy.
