Rive Gauche is a 4 year-old, purpose-built boutique B&B with studio accommodation, situated on the left bank of the Waikato River between Taupo and Huka Falls, 2 km from the CBD.
The studio is located on the lower level of our home, at ground level and has double doors leading onto a patio and barbecue area with outdoor furniture. A barbecue is provided for guest use. There is a lovely river outlook and views over our vineyard both from the studio and the patio.
The main room has a king-sized double bed and a kitchenette equipped with fridge and microwave and a range of kitchen utensils including crockery and cutlery. Other furnishings include a marble-topped dining table, chairs and an armchair, satellite flat screen TV, heat pump/aircon unit. The spacious fully-tiled bathroom has underfloor heating, wall heater and heated towel rail. Laundry facilities are available on request. A small fee may apply. We are conveniently close to town, yet surrounded by nature, with easy access to walking and cycle trails. There is a neighbourhood restaurant nearby. We also have 2 double ensuited B&B rooms upstairs making the total capacity 6-7.
