Newly (mid to late 2011) and carefully renovated in period style to retain the original charm and character of this villa, no modern feature for your comfort and enjoyment has been overlooked.
The ceilings throughout most all of the house are an amazing 2.8 meters high, and the woodwork and joinery shows the craftsmanship indicative of a slower, more careful era.
Central heating and air conditioning has been installed, and there is a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, a fully equipped laundry room with washer and dryer, classic wood floors and doors and trim, and new top quality woolen carpeting in the lounge.
Large, newly renovated tiled bathroom features a walk-in shower stall, newly enameled clawfoot bathtub, ceiling heat lamp, and heated floor and towel racks.
On-demand LPG hot water heating ensures that you will have all the hot water you will want, when you want it.

"Loved our stay at the Village Villa! Lots of space, beautiful bedrooms with comfy beds, and the location is hard to beat but still peaceful! I especially enjoyed cooking in the beautiful and well equipped kitchen... The owners have definitely thought about the details-- lots of fresh towels, soap, etc. and well equipped kitchen! The bathroom has a fantastic tub as well...and the floor heating was awesome!!! We stayed with only two people, but there is plenty of space--great spot for a family or three couples! Really a beautiful spot to stay, our only dissapointment was that we wish we could have stayed longer. Hope to return and will definitely recommend to our friends! Mission Weekend $250/night for 2 guests, add $20 each additional adult guest, $15 additional each guest less than 12 years of age. Rates: All tariffs are per night and quoted in New Zealand Dollars and inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) at 15%. 2 Night minimum. Stay 6 consecutive nights and your 7th night is free. Extra guests under 12 years of age $15/night. As changes to your reservation or cancellations affect us greatly, the following cancellation policy applies: Outside 60 days before arrival, no charge. 60 - 31 days before arrival, $150.00 transaction fee. 30 - 14 days prior, charge one night. Less than 14 days, charge for every room night booked, unless booking is replaced, in which case charge will be only for those nights not replaced. A bond equal to the nightly tariff is required as a deposit to confirm the booking. Total amount due, exclusive of bond, must be paid in 14 or more days before tenancy. Bond is returned within 7 days of guest departure. Normal light cleaning for a maximum of 2 cleaner-hours by our staff is included in the tariff. However, dirty dishes, more than one load of laundry, or extra cleaning necessitated by the condition the house and/or property is left in is charged at $18 per cleaner hour. We encourage all guests to consider purchasing travel insurance in the event that circumstances outside of their control cause cancellation of their booking and thus incur a cancellation fee. To secure a booking, a deposit/bond equivalent to the first night tariff will be charged. This deposit is refundable in accordance with the cancellation policy above. Preferred payment method is by direct bank deposit, with our banking details made available upon your booking request. We do not normally accept credit cards. However, if you must use a credit card, that is possible through the services of Paypal, using a Paypal payment request. However, there is a surcharge of 3% on any and all funds paid in that manner to cover the cost of our accepting payment in that manner.
