Welcome to `Abed in Devonport` where your hosts, Mandie and Tony, look forward to meeting you and looking after you during your stay. You will be minutes from the heart of Devonport, Auckland city and many local tourist attractions.

Devonport is a historic quaint suburb on the North Shore. Auckland is just 12 minutes ferry away. You can take a leisurely walk along the seaside promenade, over the two mounts, or follow the Old Devonport Walk mapped route of historical sites and colonial architecture. You may also visit the local museums. North Head is a lovely place to visit and where the WWII caves and tunnels are to be found. Cheltenham Beach is a beautiful location to relax and enjoy the sun, fresh air and scenery.

You can enjoy a game of golf at the local 18 hole course. Devonport is loaded with cafes, art and craft galleries and boutique shops. The Auckland city views from the foreshore are magnificent, but particularly special at night. The views from the top of Mt Victoria are unbeatable. The beaches are safe, clean and beautiful. Rangitoto, Auckland’s newest volcano, stands guard just off the shores of Cheltenham and Narrow Neck beaches, providing a beautiful picturesque setting.

The accommodation is new, clean, modern and extremely comfortable. It is located in a very quiet street. You have your own outside entrance.

Our accommodation will suit single people or larger groups. The studio and apartment can be booked together or separately. We are happy to take children but please be advised we do not have any child-proofing in place. Unfortunately we are unable to cater for pets. The accommodation is located in a very quiet street. WiFi is available. Breakfast is continental, with a choice of cereals, fruits, toast with preserves, yoghurt and juice.

The shower rooms have power showers, heated towel rails, sink and toilet. We have heaters, electric blankets, a hairdryer and a fan in both the studio and the apartment.

The Studio is furnished with a queen bed, table, chairs, sofa, TV/DVD player, radio alarm with ipod dock. There is also tea and coffee making facilities, a fridge, toaster, crockery and cutlery.

The 2 Bedroom Apartment has a double room, twin room, sofas, table/chairs, fully equipped kitchen, TV, DVD player and stereo. Our prices are from $90 per night. We ask our guests to pay in cash as we do not have electronic payment facilities. A discount is offered for stays of 6 days or longer.
