Pukawa Views - Our Pukawa Bay Holiday Home offers fabulous views over Lake Taupo and stress-free accommodation for families. Very private!

All fittings in our holiday home are tidy and adequate with a well appointed kitchen, laundry and bathroom . All wet areas have vinyl floor coverings, but all other areas are uncovered. There are some floor mats - easier to clean when the kids bring back the sand from the lake shore!!

Three separate bedrooms - 1 with queen size bed, 1 with double bed and low single bed for a small child, and a bunk/single bedroom which sleeps 5+.

All bedding is supplied ie sheets, pillowslips, duvets and covers, and beds are made up ready for use.

Towels and tea towels are NOT supplied (if you require these please ask - we may be able to arrange).

Bathroom has a shower & a spa bath - great to relax after skiing or fishing.

Kitchen is well appointed with Jennair grill, cooking hobs, fan forced oven, microwave etc.

BBQ(4 burner).

Gas heater in lounge area. Lounge has TV (channels 1,2 & 3 only), DVD with a small selection of DVDs.

SKY TV dish - you need to bring your own decoder, decoder power cable and remote control - the TV to decoder cable is on site.

Decks to enjoy the sun and views and are very private. Relax, enjoy the views across the lake and listen to the birds Tuis, Bellbirds, Fantails and watch the Wood Pigeons. Set amongst native bush.

Stroll to Lake Taupo, just a two minute walk. Great safe swimming.

2 x Kayaks available for your use - stored on site. Life jackets(various sizes - child/youth/adult)also available.
2 x Snow sled / toboggans also available for use.

Lots of bush walks. Walk to the local shop, through the bush, for the newspaper etc

Great restaurant within 5 minutes walk or take the car 10 minute drive to Waihi or Tokaanu restaurants, 12 minutes to Turangi.

Pleasant drive - 45 mins to Taupo, 45 mins to skiing at Whakapapa or summer time walks on Mt Ruapehu, 10 mins to Hot pools at Tokaanu.

Set on bush clad hill (access steps to house and house is on 3 levels) - not suitable for elderly, physically disabled or very small children due to access and physical layout.

Great swimming, fishing and boating. Safe beach for kids - quiet for mum and dad!

Please note our house is our holiday home it is not a flash apartment or classy show home - it is somewhere to relax and enjoy the lake, fishing or sking and the bush - it`s quiet away from all the stress! There are stairs to our house you can not drive up to the door - it`s nestled in the bush - fabulous for privacy and great fun for the kids.
