Murray and Jacquie look forward to welcoming you to their hosted bed and breakfast accommodation on the hill with its 360° panoramic views. Enjoy a refreshing cuppa or a glass of chilled Hawke’s Bay wine whilst you unwind after your journey.
We have only recently returned to NZ after 18 years in Europe during which time we travelled extensively both in Europe and elsewhere in the world. During our travels we had some wonderful experiences staying in hosted bed and breakfast accommodation which we hope we can replicate.
We would be happy to help you with any arrangements which will make your stay in Hawke’s Bay as enjoyable as possible. Whether you want to chill on the beach, visit some of the world famous wineries or try your luck on one of the Bay’s challenging golf courses, we can make the arrangements for you.
Situated just up the road from the Botanical Gardens, the property is a 20 minute downhill walk to either the Napier CBD or the restaurants and bars of Ahuriri, although you may want to take a cab back up the hill!
We offer a 3 course dinner, on request. This is a set menu, all we need to know is what you don’t, or can’t, eat! For those of you wishing to dine in one of Napier’s many excellent eateries, you are invited to join us in the lounge or on the deck for a glass of Hawke’s Bay wine and some nibbles, made from the Bay’s local produce.
We are a non-smoking facility and have a very friendly cat in residence.

We were warmly greeted, treated to a glass of wine, and then offered a ride to our dinner destination, all within 30 minutes of arrival. The rooms were comfortable and well thought out, with everything we needed. It was great to also have use of the spa pool. In the morning we were treated to what was no less than the best breakfast spread either of us have ever had the privilege of experiencing, and on the deck overlooking the city. Excellent hosts too!
