Lyness self-contained Suite is a luxurious and romantic retreat with views over the Kerikeri Inlet and our beautiful gardens. There is a super-king size bed or (2 king singles) at one end of the room with a seating area and dining table at the other end complete with fireplace. There is a stereo, TV,DVD, books on the region, and high speed wireless internet access. The suite has a large ensuite bathroom with spa bath for 2, walk in tiled shower, heated towel rail, and in floor heating. The kitchenette has a rimu benchtop with a 2 burner hob, fridge, and microwave. The suite has windows all across the front maximizing the views and a verandah with barbecue and outside seating. Lyness Suite has a 1920`s old world feel to it with lovely tongue and groove wood lined walls,a polished rimu floor, and ceiling fan. It comes supplied with fresh flowers, local chocolates, a fresh fruit bowl, tea and coffee, Living Nature toiletries (a local all natural cosmetic company), and bathrobes. Breakfast is available upon request.The suite is in a separate wing of our home (which was one of the original houses of Kerikeri) and has it`s own entrance. We are located about 3 km`s from town on a no exit road. There is a nice walk at the bottom of our road over the river, through a reserve to the Kororipo Pa site and then down to the Stone Store basin. Kerikeri is centrally located for seeing the Bay of Islands or enjoying one of Northland’s beautiful beaches It is ideally situated for day trips to Cape Reinga, the Kauri forests, the tourist centre of Paihia, historic Waitangi, or the romantic town of Russell.
