Prices range from $27 to $68 per person in dorm, share, twin, single and double rooms. Ask about prices for tent camping. Lodge, facilities, carpark and cabins are connected by natural gravel paths and wooden stairs.

"The Tree House Lodge is set in lush, flowery wilderness 2km from the car ferry. The wood house is owner-built, and the land surrounding it was cultivated – rescued, really – by the owners as well, as a restoration/conservation project that’s been going on for 27 years. These guys were eco-conscious before it was cool, and they’re very low-key about it. The lodge itself is a great, relaxing place to stay, with a lovely kitchen and a comfy reading nook filled with beanbag chairs and cushions."
