There is a vast variety of accommodation in Queenstown, so we followed the lead of previous comments, and spot on they were. The one bedroom apartment we had was generous in size, superbly equipped and with a great view over the lake. We normally stay in studio apartments, but the Pounamu website makes it clear that they do not have a lake view (it looks like if you book a two bedroom apartment you get the studio adjacent to a one bedroom apartment.) Yes, it was more expensive, but well worth it, and considering the area and the facilities, very good value for money. The only odd thing is that these apartments are fitted out with very high quality fittings, including wood floors
