Welcome to our sunny, well equipped 3 bedroom home three- four minutes walk to the town centre. Abby`s Holiday Home is an ideal place to get away for a couple, extended family or small group. The house sleeps 10-15. It is sunny and warm with a great logfire and electric blankets for the winter. There is a BBQ and outdoor area which is well fenced and provides lots of safe space for children to play in. The house is very well equipped including children`s toys, books, videos etc.
Geraldine is a great place for a family holiday, retreat from the city or as a stopover on your way to Mt Cook and the Southern Lakes. Four ski-fields are within 1.5 hours drive. There are cafes, wine bars, bakeries, food tasting at Barkers` fruit processors, a chocolate shop, Talbot Forest Cheese and a Honey Corner Shop. You are very close to bush and river walks, salmon and trout fishing areas and to swimming and picnic spots along the river that runs through town and in nearby gorges. Visit a variety of arts and crafts studios, the vintage car museum, two golf courses, tennis courts, the local skate park, children`s playgrounds and the heated swimming pool (November- March). There is plenty to do for young and old or you can just relax on the verandah with a coffee.
