We are in Methven Mt Hut Village a few mins walk to supermarkets, several iconic pubs and the Movie Theatre. “I stayed at Big lodge in the summer so I could attend a wedding. All the other wedding guests stayed at very expense lodges near the venue but I needed something a bit more affordable. I expected very little from Big Tree Lodge but my expectations were blown away. The bed was so comfortable I had the best two nights sleep ever. The place was warm, friendly and had all the facilities you need. The bathroom and showers seemed new and very clean and the free coffee was great. I might have go skiing at Mt Hutt just so I can stay in this lovely little friendly place again”
