The Lofthouse is set amongst the hills of Whitehall, only 10 mins from the cafes and shops of Cambridge. You will be our only guests in your own self-contained cottage which has spectacular views to Mt Maungatautari, Mt Pirongia, and TeMiro.
We are centrally positioned, only 1.5 hours drive south of Auckland, 3kms off SH1, very close to Lake Karapiro and only 20mins from both Hamilton and Mystery Creek for Field Days visitors.
Upstairs, The Lofthouse has one large bedroom with a queen bed and two singles and a TV lounge with deck to enjoy those awesome views. Downstairs is a kitchenette/dining area with fridge-freezer, bench-top oven, microwave, electric frypan etc, a shower/toilet room, and a fully equipped auto laundry.
Outdoors you have your own bbq and garden area and a fabulous cedar hot tub where you can soak your cares away in the most stunning location with views to die for!

We wanted a romantic couple of nights away together without the kids and we have hit the jackpot at The Lofthouse - as people have said before "God bless the internet"!! Rona & Colin have found the perfect balance of great hospitality and yet giving couples such as ourselves the privacy that we can never get at home … if you know what I mean! I`m not sure which features impressed us the most - the stunning 360 views? The delicious chocolate & raspberry brownie? The luxurious pressed sheets on the most comfortable bed we have slept in anywhere? Being able to curl up together on the couch on a rainy afternoon watching a DVD from the collection in the bookcase? No, it has to be savouring a glass of Pinot Noir in the hot tub and watching the sun go down, gloriously turning from orange to red to black in the silence that you never find in town, and then the stars came out! We will be bringing each other back to this little piece of paradise often! Thank you Rona & Colin - you should be very proud of what you have created here.
