Hunt Cottage
Hunt Cottage has north facing verandahs and patios which offer pleasant options for the views, sun & BBQ`s.... and although now fully restored, offers lots of 140 yr old character and genuine charm. The Cottage is fully self contained with 3 bdrms - 2 x Queen, + 1 bdrm with 2 singles (the latter also with a cot if required). Extra rollaway beds available. A Spa Pool option is also available.

Poplar Cottage
Poplar Cottage has surrounding verandahs which offer pleasant options for the views, sun & BBQ`s.... and although now fully restored, offers lots charm & character. The Cottage is fully self contained with 3 bdrms - 2 x Queen, + 1 bdrm with 2 singles (the latter also with a cot if required). Extra rollaway beds available. A Spa Pool Option is also available.

Garden Cottage
Garden Cottage has north and east facing verandahs and patios which offer pleasant options for the views, sun & BBQ`s.... and although now fully restored, offers lots of 140 yr old character and genuine charm. The Cottage is fully self contained with 1 Queen bdrm - with a `double sofa bed` in the lounge/living area. Extra rollaway beds available. A Spa Pool option may be available.

Venue
The Venue offers a perfect `escape to the country` - only 2 hrs from Wellington. Gorgeous Cottages and Homestead in a stunning farm setting. Completely private but also just a short drive to lovely beaches at Castlepoint and Riversdale. A genuine Country option with potential suitability and appeal for boutique weddings, corporate events and extended family occasions.

An exclusive Country Venue `package` - subject to availability of all Cottage & Homestead Accommodation together - can be booked with the following options:

A. Corporate & Family Events - Rates (incl. GST) based on accommodation utilising up to 12 bdrms and facilities as required - with 10% discounts for mid-week bookings (the latter N/A in School & Public Holidays)

B. Weddings - A Venue Fee of $25 per person applies ONLY to extra `day guests` who are not staying in our Homestead or Cottages ... when these latter fully booked as follows:

For a Boutique Garden Wedding , with up to 24 persons staying in our Homestead and Cottages for a min. 2 nights spanning a weekend, the total would be a `Flat Rate Package` of $3340 * ie. This sum being solely based on the cost of accommodation comprising our Homestead (up to 10 persons @ $900/n) and `Hunt` & `Poplar` Cottages (up to 6 persons each) and `Garden` Cottage (2 persons). When organised as a `$3340 Flat Rate Package`, this Package effectively saves up to $600 (24 x $25) in Venue Fees - Nil for this inner circle group. It should be noted that an important condition of this package is that internal use of the Homestead is restricted to Homestead Guests only ... which also restricts Guest allocations in the Homestead to adults only. This `package` is not available during the Summer School Holidays due to annual forward bookings of our Cottages during this period.

* A 10% discount is available for `start/finish` bookings within mid week dates that are not in School or Public Holidays ... with this 10% Discount also applicable to any extra days being added to the above 2 day weekend package. ** Other options involving `Cottages or Homestead Only` bookings can be discussed to suit ... incl. some modest flexibility for motor homes/caravans/tents.

For a larger Wedding Party comprising accommodated Guests for 2 nights - as per above Package - and extra `Wedding Day Only` guests, please add $25/person for latter.

All bookings require a 20% Deposit as final confirmation - with balance in 2 equal sums payable 2 & 1 mths prior to Venue booking date. GST is included. Ample car parking available for `Day Guests` under mature trees next to our Croquet Lawn at the end of our 400 m driveway from the main Masterton/Castlepoint Road - so private and secure. Choices for marquee sites (marquees and other hireage not provided). Splendid garden photo backdrops ... and conditional access to Farm & Mountain walks; use of our 6 hole `farm style` Golf course, Croquet lawn, Archery and general facililities - with all equipment available and included.

Footnotes: 1. Day Guests will trigger a need to hire Portaloos - available in Masterton @ reasonable standard charges. 2. There frequently are other Homestead or Cottage bookings on adjoining dates (especially during Summer) - so it is important to consider an extra day if planning activities past 11 am on day of departure. 3. We are happy to provide practical independent advice where appropriate, including comment on catering options ... and some old fashioned `country help` with many of the items that are often overlooked, or become an extra cost!
