Prospect Cottage is a `Settler Style Cottage` located on a large section at the entrance to Riversdale Beach Resort. It has 2 bedrooms, Bedroom 1 has a queen bed and a single bed and Bedroom 2 has a bunk bed (single over double) - so the cottage can sleep up to 6 people. There is also an option to rent the one bedroom cabin at the rear of the section for additional family or friends (at a discounted rate). The one room cabin has a queen bed and en-suite shower room.
The section is very large (3,500 Sq Metres) with plenty of room for additional tent or caravan parking. Please speak to the owner direct for additional one room cottage bookings or possible camping/caravan options.
If you are attending a wedding at Orui Station, it is an ideal cottage to book, as it is only a short walk to the wedding venue!.
The cottage is furnished to a high standard and is situated only a few minutes stroll from the beach, Orui Station for weddings or local shop, which has a good range of groceries etc (open 7 days). Tennis courts and beautiful 9 hole golf course nearby (visitors welcome). Sky TV and bar at clubhouse for sporting events. Good cellphone coverage - 027 users. There is `Freeview TV` at cottage.
It is an ideal base for surfers, fishermen, golfers and beach lovers! Nearby you can enjoy surfing, swimming, tennis, golf, sea fishing, trekking or river fishing. Smoking - strictly outside only please!
Locally you can charter a fishing boat, go canoeing or make use of the Whareama Boat Launch which is ony 10 minutes drive away.
Or just relax, read a book and enjoy the peace and quiet!
